Oligocottus snyderi (Fluffy Sculpin)

This species of intertidal sculpin has very variable coloration and can be distinguished from Oligocottus maculosus by its more elongate body shape and sparser cirri. They exhibit homing behavior, returning to specific pools when disturbed. They are omnivores, feeding on algae and small mollusks, crustaceans, and worms. (fishbase)
